I have bought my "GIOS Super Record" on the 9th of May 2013 from the first owner, who bought it new in the early 80s (he couldn´t remember the year, but as the Campagnolo rear derailleur dates from 1980, i believe it was built that year. The shop "Brügelmann" was a huge dealer for racing bikes at that time and i don´t believe, that he was putting parts on a bike, that were sitting in stock for a longer period. The bike is almost mint, as it was ridden not more than 500km, according to the previous owner. Frame size is 58 and the weight is 9,7kg. It´s an icon of that time, i love it!

This is my restored Gios Aerodynamic. I found it in local ads in a rideable, but "poor" condition. So, I decided, to bring back its old beauty, by completely rebuilding. As I have learned from information in the www, the Aerodynamic is a really rare bird. Lucky enough, that the framesize of 59 fits perfektly! I have recently changed the seat to a Selle Turbo, which looks much better, than the Brooks.

My "Gios Compact" from around 1987. I bought it from the first owner with around 3000km on it. It has a complete Shimano Dura Ace Group (except for a 600 front derailleur, which I will change to a Dura Ace soon). I must admit, that, despite I love the Campagnolo Groups on my other Gios bikes, nothing comes close to the mechanical perfection of Shimano components! This bike is a real workhorse! And I like the red color, which makes this bike rare.

Frame Size is 58. Campagnolo Super Record Components, Cinelli Stem and Giro d´ Italia Handlebar, Pelissier 2000 Professional Hubs with Mavic Championnat du Monde Professionel Rims, Selle San Marco Rolls Saddle, Shimano Dura Ace Cassette, Sedis Gold chain, Ale Bottle cage and toe clips. Bought from first owner with approx. 500 km. Excellent condition with just a few paint chips. The bike weigs in at 9,7 kgs.
