I had always long admired GIOS bicyles - from the moment I saw a lovely "Compact" frame (in white) and finally bought my very first GIOS bike (the Cinquetanario) in 1998.
In 2004 Alfredo kindly agreed to build me a custom-made "Carbon" in white (after a LOT of persuasion!) and a custom-made "CarbonPlus" in July 2006. I have ridden and raced all three of my GIOS bikes in TT's, hill-climbs, crits and road races - and can't fault either the ride or build quality of these beautifully classy and timeless frames.

GIOS "CarbonPlus" custom-made frameset finished in 'pearlised white' and team-issue stem and (GIOS/Selle-Italia) saddle, fitted with CampagRecord group-set (limited edition 'Red' brake/gear-levers) LOOK carbon forks, FSA team-issue crankset, Deda carbon bars and Reynolds carbon wheelset.
